The Lachmann- XBerg group Apt, 2BR + 1,5 bathrooms

Fine for our needs but not great for the price. Positive: Good location for chilled vibe and nice places to eat (west of flat - avoid Kottbusser Straße) and walkable to museuminsel (about 1/2 hour). Very Comfy beds. Negative: As a basement it’s a bit gloomy and there’s a damp musty smell. Although the English description said there were two bathrooms, there is in fact only one plus a separate cloakroom (toilet & washbasin). The shower head only faces sideways so you have to hold it. The kitchen has no windows and is a little impractical to cook for 5 people. The lounge isn’t very cosy and it’s difficult to squeeze around the dining table (not much space around it). We were out most of the time so these things didn’t matter too much, but i thought for over €700 for 3 nights it ought to be better. That said, accommodation in Berlin does seem rather pricey overall.

Hände weg von diesem Appartement! Positive: Nichts Negative: Die Wohnung ist im Keller, was nicht ausgewiesen war. Die Wohnung war dunkel, muffig und dreckig. Die Küche war so dreckig, dass man sich darin nicht aufhalten konnte, das Schlafzimmer hat gestunken und die Bettwäsche war dreckig. Die Handtücher hatten einen modrigen Geruch. Wir haben um Austausch gebeten. Die neuen waren auch nicht besser. Die Bewertung mit 9 ist völlig unangemessen und muss fake sein. Für den Preis eine Zumutung! Macht nicht den Fehler, den wir gemacht haben, und nehmt die Wohnung. Wir hätten bei Booking.com eskalieren sollen und auf Ersatz drängen. Das ist möglich, wussten wir aber erst im Nachhinein.

Nous avons très apprécié notre séjour Positive: L'appartement est près d'une station de métro. La fraîcheur dans l'appartement a été très apprécié Negative: Des petits assiettes pour le petit déjeuner seraient les bienvenus, ainsi que des sets de table (pour mieux protéger la belle table)
